  • My daughter's appointments were at 7 in the morning, so she never missed a math class. The front desk explained our insurance before we signed anything.

    Sample review

  • I was nervous about braces before ninth grade. It hurt for like three days and then it was fine. I picked green and gold bands for the season.

    Sample review

  • I am 46 and thought it was too late. Dr. Breckett told me what aligners could and could not fix.

    Sample review

Why families choose us

  • Appointments before school

Adjustments start at 7 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so most students are back in class by second period.

  • A plan you can see

At the consultation we scan your teeth and show every option on screen, including the option to wait.

  • Sometimes the answer is wait

Many seven year olds need nothing yet. When that is the case we say so and check again later.

  • Cost in writing, up front

You get a written fee and a monthly plan before anything starts. We file orthodontic insurance for you.

Questions parents and patients ask

When should my child first see an orthodontist?

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first check no later than age 7. Many children need no treatment yet; we check again as adult teeth come in. Early checks for children

Do I need a referral from my dentist?

No. Call us directly. We can send your dentist a summary after the consultation.

How much do braces or aligners cost?

It depends on the case. After the consultation you get a written fee, what insurance will likely pay, and a monthly plan, before anything starts.

Braces or clear aligners for my teen?

Both can work. Aligners move teeth only while they are worn. Braces work with nothing to remember. We talk it through with you and your teen. Clear aligners

Can my child play sports or a band instrument with braces?

Yes. Wear a mouthguard for contact sports. Wind and brass players need a few weeks to adjust.

What if a bracket breaks or a wire pokes?

Cover the sharp spot with orthodontic wax and call us when we open. For a mouth or face injury, call 911 or go to an emergency room.
